ABOUT US

Saltisford Canal Arm is a peaceful green space in the heart of Warwick, just below the famous Hatton lock flight on the Grand Union Canal. The site is managed by the Saltisford Canal Trust, a registered charity that works to restore, preserve and promote this historic waterway, its heritage and its use by narrowboats, visitors and the local community.

Saltisford offers safe harbour for visiting boats along with gardens, orchards and waterside spaces to relax and enjoy. It is home to historic boats, wildlife and blue green surroundings that provide a quiet refuge close to the town centre.

The restored canal warehouse houses a visitor centre and shop with friendly staff. Here you will find gifts, books, handmade crafts, chandlery items, ice cream and, when in season, our own honey.

As part of your visit to Warwick, come and explore the Saltisford Canal Centre and enjoy a welcoming corner of local history, nature and community life.
